Things of beauty

I often find beauty in what might seem the strangest places. As an example, many years ago I worked as an Activity Director for a skilled convalescent center.

This was my first experience working in a convalescent center and at first I was uncomfortable. I wasn't sure about working in a setting like that with people that in some ways scared me. That quickly changed, when I realized that the people I was working with were just that "people".

I had many memorable experiences working as an Activity Director and developed many close friendships. I found beauty in the people I met, the friends I made and the warm and sincere love I felt from residents and for the residents.
