Rainbow

The other evening I looked outside shortly after the rain had stopped. It had been raining off and on all day which made for a rather gloomy day. As I was looking out the window I saw a beautiful rainbow that appeared to be almost over head.

I got my camcorder and went out to get some pictures of the rainbow. It was so close overhead it was difficult to get a good picture. As I took a couple of pictures, I suddenly realized that a second rainbow had appeared. I was a beautiful sight indeed.

As I looked around I saw several neighbors were also enjoying the rainbows and taking pictures. All of us seemed to be enjoying the beauty of the moment. What added to the beauty of the rainbows, if it is possible, was the fact that the rainbows came near the end of what had been a rainy and somewhat gloomy day.

It seemed that Heavenly Father sent the rainbows to give us a little beauty before the day ended. I know that my family, the neighbors and I seemed to be lifted up for a brief moment because of the beautiful rainbows.
