Bees

The trees have been blossoming Dimensions Counted Cross Stitch, Blossoms and Butterflies the last couple of weeks and yesterday while the sun was out for a short time the bees were collecting pollen from the tree blossoms. They made such a beautiful sound.

They were working the flower blossoms also. As I said yesterday in my post, the world will be less beautiful if the bee population continues to decline.

I enjoy eating the fruits of the bees labor. I love eating honey. My Great Uncle raised bees in the Central Valley of California when I was growing up.Each year we would get bottles of several different kinds of honey. I think my two favorites were Vetch and Alfalfa honey.

My cousin Orin Johnson still continues the tradition and owns Johnson's Apiaries in Hughson, CA. His contact information is:

Have a beautiful honey of a day.

Everything has a purpose on the Earth and the bees is to make honey.

As I have said in earlier posts, I enjoy watching bees. They don't seem to be very easily distracted. They just go about doing the work they are suppose to do.

I also enjoy the honey they make.
